This is next to a sea lion colony (you have to pay to see them), 14 km from P Madryn. You can walk to here along the beach (very nice walk on a nice day), and you can easily hitch a ride back.―Anonymous

to get to Punta Ninfas and see the elephant seals. Three cars passed in two hours. One of them was going only half way to an estancia. On a weekend some locals seem to drive there to have a bbq. It might be a better idea to share a rental car with other people. The gravel road is bad, but doable in a normal car, unless it has been raining very heavily.―Anonymous

RP1 to the east of here is actually closed (march 2013) and traffic goes around here, through the suburb to the south.―Anonymous

Perfect stop to hitch-hike on road 3, heading south or north. Lot of trucks, and a huge gas-station with a lot of traffic!―losangelitos

Perfect spot to reach the roundabout up, wich crosses round 3. It is one hour by foot, but the wind can be extremly strong there. If you are heading north, try asking your driver to leave you on the YPF gas station a bit further on road 3! Perfect spot to hitch-hike there
